Our Physical Testing Department has a 16,000 square foot
dedicated facility with computerized controls and data acquisition.
With the capabilities that the environmental chambers extend
to our customers, we are able to perform complete system testing
and component testing beyond normal environments that most
components / systems are ever exposed to.
VRD, Inc. has two full vehicle chambers with computerized
controls and data acquisition. The chambers measure 11.5'H
x 17'W x 29'D and feature the following capabilities.
-40° F to 180° F (-40° C to 82° C)
Infrared heating Sun-load to 45 kW
Controlled relative humidity above ambient to 95%
Our additional component chamber:
-100° F to 374° F (-73° C to 190° C)

Most testing that VRD, Inc. has performed revolves around
mechanical durability and validation of the particular system
/ component under test. Fortunately, with the experience and
